I've been using eyelash curlers for a number of years now, it's safe to say that they make a huge difference on the look of my lashes. I naturally have quite straight lashes which means giving them a curl can really open up my eyes and make them look much longer. Whenever I forget to take a pair with me whilst I'm away I always notice how my mascara doesn't work so well and my lashes don't look so good. I've tried a fair few brands in the past but have found they never really stand the test of time and aren't made very well. This brings me onto the raved about Shu Uemura version, they are talked about everywhere and have a 'holy grail' status amongst make up artists and beauty writers. I'd been wanting to try out a pair for a number of years now so was super pleased to have the opportunity to give them a go when they came through my postbox a couple of weeks ago. So far I've been very impressed, they are really strong meaning you only have to apply the tiniest amount of pressure, the biggest difference compared to most other curlers as with those I always have to press hard. They also give my lashes a much prettier curl as they curl the whole lashes rather than just at the base. Inside the box comes an extra pad so that they will work good as new again after the old one has worn out. All in all if you like to invest into what goes in your make up bag then I would certainly recommend trying these out, especially the ever so classy gold pair.
