molton brown anti-bacterial rok mint hand wash & lotion

I've always loved Molton Brown, be it their bubble baths or posh hand washes to show off in your bathroom, and if you are after some fancy bottles of hand cream it's the first place to look. Yes, they are expensive, for essentially just hand wash and hand lotion but there's nothing wrong with a bit of luxury when it comes to keeping your hands looking lovely. The rok mint scent is sophisticated yet fresh and the set would also make an ideal gift.

'February 2012 sees the launch of Molton Brown’s first ever anti-bacterial fine liquid hand wash, as part of their new Rok Mint Hand Duo. A sophisticated aroma of basil, blackcurrant and mint, the new duo leaves hands smooth and protected whilst providing clinically proven anti-bacterial care. The Rok Mint soothing hand lotion contains a shea butter complex, further preventing moisture loss and ensuring hands are left with a soft velvety after-feel'

Rok Mint fine liquid hand wash - £15.00 (300ml)
Rok Mint smoothing hand lotion - £15.00 (300ml)

glossybox: valentine's edition

Hi beauts, the postman just arrived with this month's Valentine's themed Glossybox which I've been sent to try out which I'm very pleased about for obvious reasons. I personally think that Glossybox are taking a step in the right direction when it comes to keeping the brand fresh and up to date with the products in the boxes and I'm always impressed with the creative side of the company with limited edition boxes and their new found talent of reaching out to bloggers. But I have to say I wish the box was still an all round price of £10, but in fairness the samples sent out do match up in value. I love the idea of this month's box but think it would have been great if the samples were Valentine's themed too rather than just the box, for example a red nail polish etc. All in all it's still a great box and with brands such as Clarins, Murad and Eyeko in there you can't really complain.

Eyeko Skinny Eyeliner - £9.50 per pencil -
'Get a handle on your eyeliner for precise definition and intense colour with a long-lasting finish.'

Clarins Extra Firming Night Cream - full size £48 -
'Clarins' intensive night-time skin renewal complex.'

Clarins Extra Firming Day Cream - full size £46.50 -
'Infusing skin with firming benefits that are immediate and long-lasting.'

current make-up #9

Bonjour lovelies. Lately I've been wearing the following make up look, it's still a fairly natural look but I've been venturing into wearing smoky grey eyeshadow which I think goes really well with pink lips, dewy foundation and contoured cheeks. I'm also still in love with Benefit 'they're real' mascara which lasted me six months before having to buy a new tube. Pretty much everything feature in this post are firm favourites of mine and I highly recommend getting your hands on them all. I had my hair in a messy bun also which you can't tell from the picture but I find it the perfect style to keep my hair in at the minute.

sleek luminaire concealer

Recently Sleek sent me their Luminaire highlighting concealer to try out and I have to say that after using it for a few days now I'm completely amazed. I usually have horrible dark under eye circles due to a poor diet and rarely getting a good nights sleep which really bother me and every concealer I've tried before either has great coverage but has been too thick and looks cakey, or has light coverage which doesn't cover them up properly but has a nice light texture. I'm happy to say that the Sleek version covers all bases and manages to cover my under eye circles perfectly while also having light reflecting properties and blends perfectly into my skin. I'm so happy with the shade (L02) as it literally matches my skin so well that it feels like it was made for me. Using the brush on the end of the concealer wand you simply dab a small amount under your eye and blend with your ring finger then leave to set for 30 seconds and your under eye circles will then have vanished for the rest of the day. I can't say enough good things about this product, I will most definitely be repurchasing it in the future and I think it really deserves more exposure in the blogging world. I tried it on a few spots too and found it worked just as well at covering those up, and the best bit of all is that it costs just £6.49 and also comes in five different shades.

Sleek Luminaire Highlighting Concealer - available in Superdrug stores or the Sleek website - £6.49

current make-up #8

Hi guys, I haven't got time to write much as I'm just off to College but thought I'd show you my fave lippie at the moment which is Costa Chic by Mac. It's probably more suited for Summer wear than Winter, but I don't really care because I hate winter, and everyone needs a bit of colour in their lives right? I find the shade perfect for my skin tone and dark hair colour and enjoy the frost finish also, the colour is basically coral with a frosty blue undertone, which goes perfect with a tan but looks equally as nice on pale skin.

benefit and diet coke get glam launch event

On Thursday evening I was lucky enough to have been invited to the launch event for the Diet Coke and Benefit get glam collaboration in the Benefit store at Spitalfields. It was a fab event with mini makeovers going on around the room and lush male models serving drinks. I had a lovely time chatting with some of my fave bloggers and at the end I was handed a massive gift box full of Benefit goodies.

With every special edition can of Diet Coke is a £5 off voucher if you spend over £20 on the Benefit website. I personally believe that everyone needs the 'they're real' mascara in their life as it's the best mascara that I've ever tried, which I have reviewed here.

topshop milkshake nail polish

At the moment I've been wearing this nail polish nearly every day and I really love it. The shade is a milky powdered pink that I find goes with my skin tone really well, two coats is enough to achieve a great finish too. Topshop also sell a load of different nail polishes on their website which I definitely need to check out given how impressed I am with this one.

urban decay reviews

Hello beautiful people. Today I'm going to do some short and sweet reviews of some of Urban Decay's most popular products.

Eyeshadow in 'Sin'- £13.00

This is a really great neutral shade and makes a perfect warm highlight colour for either on the brow bone or the inner corner of your eye. The quality of the shadow is amazing and therefore in my opinion is worth the price tag, I love the packaging of their shadows too.

Eyeshadow Primer Potion - £14.50

I think pretty much anyone who's clued up on beauty products already knows how good the primer potion is, but for those that don't you basically apply a small amount across your eyelid before using eye shadow to make the pigment stronger and to make the look last longer. It has also recently been repackaged and I personally much prefer the tube to the pot that it used to come in as it's a lot easier to just squeeze it out. Definitely something you need in your life if you wear a lot of eye shadow.

Glide-on Eye Pencil in 'Binge' - £13.00

Another product that Urban Decay are famed for is their pencil eyeliners due to the high pigmentation and long lasting wear. The liner applied really well and although it's really creamy it still manages to stay put all day which is really impressive. The midnight blue colour is beautiful too especially if you have hazel coloured eyes.

Complexion Primer Potion - £18.00

I've been using this for a few months now under my foundation and it makes a great alternative to a thick moisturiser and adds a lovely glow to my skin. I also found that it made my foundation much easier to apply and as I have dry skin it stopped my foundation from looking cakey. Another great thing about this product was that my foundation has been lasting longer on my skin throughout the day.

All of the products shown above are available on the Debenhams or House of Fraser website and in store. What are your favourite Urban Decay products?
