soap and glory reviews, post two

'Hand food' hydrating hand cream

This was the first hand cream that I bought for myself a few years ago. I always used to think of hand cream as a thing that only older people used until I saw the gorgeous pink packaging on this and decided to give it a go. I never realised how important taking care and moisturising your hands was until I saw the difference that it made. It also smells really yummy and sweet but not at all overpowering. I definitely recommend giving it a go as it sinks straight into the skin and compares really well to a lot of other much more expensive hand creams that I've tried in the past. It also comes in a really handy travel size that is perfect for fitting in your hand bag and applying throughout the day.

'Scrub your nose in it' face scrub and mask

If I could recommend that you just buy one thing by Soap and Glory this would definitely be it. Firstly, it's dual purpose so you can use it just as an ordinary face scrub or you can leave it on for an extra three minutes as a face mask. I apply just over a pea sized amount to my face and instantly the gorgeous minty spa smell refreshes my skin. It then starts to slightly heat up on my face and when I wash it off my skin feels brand new. It's amazing to awaken your skin in the morning if like me you feel like a zombie in the mornings, I one hundred percent guarantee it will make you feel completely woken up. It also makes skin appear so much brighter and ready for the day.

'The breakfast scrub body' smoother

Wow this smells seriously amazing. It's like a yummy mixture of banana, honey, toffee and almond. I apply a small handful and at first it feels a tad sticky but once you get scrubbing and blend it with the water on your skin properly it works perfectly. It's much more gentle than the 'flake away' body scrub and once washed off there is no residue left whatsoever. Ah it smells good enough to eat. My second favourite S&G product from the gift set.

Price: £9.25

'Glad hair day' shampoo

I was really pleased when I read on the packaging about this shampoo being a 'no build up formula' as that can sometimes be a problem with shampoos & conditioners. I wouldn't say that it has done any miracles for my hair but it certainly works as you would want a shampoo to do. It also smells divine which is a big plus! The only slight downside is you need to apply a little more than normal as it doesn't lather up as easily as other shampoos.

Price: £5.00

  2. Wow, these products are so lovely and I do adore the cute pink packaging. Damn why didn't I buy one of those sets from boots. My Fiancé's mum made his bro get up early on the day they went on offer to reserve a load online lol. Why didn't I ask to do one for me too!

  3. That scrub looks great, I wasn't too keen on the hand cream, felt it took ages to soak in.

  4. I love scrub your nose in it. I buy it in bulk when S&G are on offer. It is great as a scrub and as a clay mask.
The breakfast scrub sounds lovely, I want to try it. I always get put off as it looks like something I really wouldn't want for breakfast! :) x
