herbal essences dazzling shine collection

I was recently sent the Herbal Essences 'dazzline shine' collection which I'm really pleased about as my blog is really lacking in hair product reviews. I tend to not fuss about with my hair too much and just use drug store shampoo/conditioner and use my backcomb in a bottle. But I'm really glad that I got these products to review as it was just what my hair needed. It's a great little collection as they all smell like green apple & berries (in my opinion) and do a wonderful job of making hair appear shiny and healthy.

Shampoo & conditioner
These are just great all rounders, they are easy to foam up and smell gorgeous once applied to the hair. They are nice and light feeling which is another thing that I love about the collection. I'd recommend swapping your current routine for these two and seeing if it makes a difference as the small bottles are the perfect size if you want to try them out.

Light reflecting hair mask
Next onto my current favourite hair mask. The main problem that I seem to have with hair masks is that they are usually too thick and leave my hair greasy. Thankfully this product is really light on the hair and you only need to use a thin coat. When I used it the other day it did a wonderful job of making my hair appear shiny and made it smell gorgeous.

Light reflecting serum
I really like the serum too as like all of the other products in the range it's nice and light feeling. The main reason that I used to refrain from using serums is because they would make my hair feel greasy. It sinks straight into my hair with ease and you only need a small amount to make your hair look silky and smooth.

So overall it is a big thumbs up for the collection. I especially love the smell of the products and the way that it perks my hair up to make it look really healthy & shiny. The range is currently on buy one get one free in boots over most of the products so definitely have a look to see if you fancy trying it out.

  1. I use the Hello Hydration (orchid extract & coconut) shampoo and conditioner, which both smell absolutely incredible, and I've always wondered if I should try some of the other products apart from the hair washing ones...

  2. They sound really good! Herbal Essences shampoos always smell so lovely, but I'm trying to go SLS-free at the moment. Do you know if the shampoo has SLS in it? If not I may give them a go!
