how to achieve super white teeth!

I know a lot of people out there probably think the only way to achieve healthy looking white teeth is to get a professional treatment done costing lots of money, and unless you have the money to play around with equal to a celebrity for laser teeth whitening it's difficult to know where exactly to shop around for a cheaper alternative. Over the past year I've been using Crest Whitening Strips on and off every few months which have worked well but are quite a faff to use. I've also been using Beverly Hills Formula Whitening Toothpaste which I think have helped keep them looking healthy. I didn't have the whitest of teeth to start with and in fact they were starting to look rather yellow. Not to the point of being noticeable but no one wants dull looking teeth! Over just a period of 20 days of using the Crest 3D Professional Effects Strips the colour of my teeth had dramatically changed to a stunning pearly white colour. That was about eight months ago now and I did notice the white colour fading after about four months but they are definitely still very white.

However, I've come up with my own teeth whitening plan that guarantees my teeth always stay pearly white. Every six months I use a pack of the Crest Whitening strips which last for 20 days, so for roughly five months between using the Crest strips I use a whitening toothpaste for every time I brush my teeth and then I like to use the Transformulas teeth whitening pen every couple of days or so.

I recommend that if you have yellow teeth to buy a pack of Crest 3D Professional Effects Whitening Strips for Yellow/Brown teeth as they will give the best result. You simply peel off the strips and apply them to your teeth for thirty minutes and then peel them off once the time is up. You can tell they are on your teeth but they aren't particularly uncomfortable. I know that people with sensitive teeth may find they get a little shooting pain lasting a couple of seconds every now and then whilst using the strips, but I personally had no pain whatsoever.

But if your teeth just need a helping hand in looking brighter then definitely check out the Transformulas teeth whitening pen, it costs just £29 and is completely mess-free and so easy to use. You just brush a coat of the product onto clean teeth and leave it to dry for 30 seconds and then preferably don't eat or drink for an hour, perfect to apply before bedtime. It even leaves my breath feeling minty fresh. It's a complete life saver for me as it comes in a really handy tube to just pop in your make up bag if you are travelling. By far the easiest, cheapest and fuss-free option.

  3. I've bookmarked it too, the dentist said mine aren't stained but it's the natural colour of my teeth. He says they are normal, but I think they are yellow! Will try these out :) x

  11. Crest white strips are nearly impossible to get hold of in the UK

  12. These are some very handy tips indeed, however I must admit none of these compare to actually seeing a professional. It may cost a little more but at the risk of damaging my teeth I would have to opt for a dentists advice before doing anything overly dramatic with my teeth!

  13. Try Stella white strips instead of Crest. They are peroxide free and very friendly on your enamel!
