colour tipped nails

Morning lovelies. Today I'm going to show you the nail art that I've been doing recently, well I call it nail art but this is as close as it gets for me! I'm really enjoying using grungy colours as a base with a pop of neon colour on the tips, very on trend for spring/summer. It's not difficult to do if you are fairly steady handed, just drag the brush along the tip of your nail as you would with a french manicure. But if you are using one of the Kiss nail artist paints it's almost impossible to mess up.

Polishes used: Chanel 'Particuliere' (you can use Barry M 'Mushroom') as the base colour and Models Own 'Bubblegum' on the tips

Polishes used: Beauty UK 'Slate' as the base colour and Kiss Nail Artist Paint in 'Silver Glitter' on the tips.

Polishes used: Barry M 'Strawberry' as the base colour and Kiss Nail Artist Paint in 'Pearl Gold' on the tips.

    I promised myself I would comment more on my fave blogs :-) I seen this I just had to I love this nil trend it looks so simplistic but really effective I really like the grey with silver because I just like a bit of sparkle but the brown with orange neon polish looks terrific too :-) I must try this out x x

    You can also put a thin strip of scotch tape on the nail, just below where you want to paint, it means if you mess up you get polish on the tape, not the rest of the nail, so it doesn't effect it because you take the tape off at the end :)
