london fashion week: toni & guy hair show

Last Thursday I was lucky enough to be invited along to the first ever hair show at London Fashion Week courtesy of Toni & Guy which was very surreal to say the least. We started the night with a glass of champers and then made our way to the main catwalk where none other than the legend that is Naomi Campbell presented the show. I did a bit of celeb spotting and saw Oliva Palermo, Matthew Williamson and Hilary Alexander enjoying the show, to name a few. I even sat behind the celebrity make up artist that is Lisa Eldridge, who I'm sure you are all aware of as her skills with the make up brush are beyond words. Anyhow, what I gathered from the show is that big waves, messy buns and statement hair styles is where it's at. Obviously as it's a catwalk show some of the styles aren't what I'd consider wearable but definitely something to draw inspiration from.

  1. You have some great photographs! Looks like a great show, I particularly like the dramatic ponytail! xx

  2. I'm loving all the hairstyles! xx

  3. wow sure is an amazing opportunity! thanx so much for taking pictures to share with all of us! I can def. agree with you, nothing on the catwalk is ever wearable, but yes everything is so inspiring!

  4. I suppose the hairstyles allow you to get inspiration from them and make your own kind of styles from them!

    You look lovely btw

  5. Im loving the hairstyles, I would love to know how to do some of those styles myself (maybe, toned down a little bit! ahah) Im not sure I could get away with some of those!

  6. We literally must have sat next to each other. I was right at the end of the 2nd row, sneakily snapping Hilary and Lisa! x
